18 years old, I started to work as a freelancer for the German newspaper Badische Zeitung at the local office in Rheinfelden. After finishing grammar school and my civilian service, I had a six months internship at the Badische Zeitung. During this time and later my main themes comprised everyday local reporting as well as cultural events and sports. After starting my studies in Basel, I kept on working as a freelancer for the German newspaper. More articles appeared in numerous Swiss papers and magazines.
